We’re Hiring an Executive Director (Part-Time)!

The Crypto Freedom Alliance of Texas (CFAT) is dedicated to promoting the responsible development of digital asset policies in the Lone Star State. CFAT is seeking a part-time executive director who can help bring the organization’s vision to life. If you live in Texas and have the drive to create a robust digital asset ecosystem in the state, we want to hear from you!

The executive director will play a pivotal role in charting the future direction of CFAT. The part-time position will develop and implement organizational initiatives that align with CFAT’s five priorities.

What we’re looking for:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset

  • Understanding and experience in web3 and digital assets

  • Capable of representing CFAT to a diverse range of external stakeholders, including senior business leaders and government officials 

  • Established relationships in the Texas public policy and regulatory community (focus on finance and/or digital technology preferred)

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage budgets and organizational finances

  • Experience running or directing advocacy campaigns on public policy topics

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing, public policy, communications or related field

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the nonprofit sector and experience working with nonprofit boards a plus

What you’ll need to do: 

  • Develop key performance indicators and organizational targets for annual CFAT activities

  • Plan and execute at least four in-person community events in Texas

  • Write and send at least one legislative update to member companies per month

  • Assist Eden Advisors in planning in person at least one in-person board meeting per year

  • Establish and/or maintain relationships with key government agencies, as defined by CFAT Board of Directors and Eden Advisors

  • Oversee organizational communication efforts and publication of regular communications content  

  • Host and create an agenda for monthly wide member calls

  • Coordinate and strategize with key stakeholders and other trade groups in Texas
