Texan Leadership
Texas governor Greg Abbott has helped shape the development of the digital asset and blockchain sector. As he noted in a recent interview:
“Texas wants to be the centerpiece of [the blockchain industry].”
Back in 2021, Governor Abbott appointed a blockchain workgroup for the state. The work group was charged with “develop[ing] a master plan for the expansion of the blockchain industry in Texas and recommend policies and state investments in connection with blockchain technology.”
It will take strong, committed leadership for Texas to be a leader in the highly competitive digital asset industry. We look forward to working with Governor Abbott on this critical topic.
